Talking Bees and Violent Thieves

I'm driving in this van, after running out of the Steinbach Regional Secondary School, and I know everyone in the van but they look different. We drive, and drive, and we get into this huge parked. I pull out a gun, but someone shoots the driver through the window.

There is no segue from this scene to me and Josh in a shopping mall, walking in the hall. We see these three guys, one resembling Josh Ryan, one resembling Jon Ruten, the other an unfamiliar face. They have a purse. Josh grabs the purse from the ufamiliar one and runs away. Josh Ryan and the stranger run after him, and I follow. Jon Ruten is slow, behind me.

When we exit the building, we're exiting the Steinbach Junior High. Josh is running across the front yard but he doesn't make it to the sidewalk before the stranger catches up. He puts Josh in a headlock, but Josh flips him over his back and punches him in the head, over and over until he's not moving anymore. Josh Ryan pulls out a gun, and Josh takes the stranger's cellphone. We run behind a bush when Josh Ryan starts shooting us, and Josh pulls a gun from nowhere and shoots back.

Jon Ruten finally catches up and Josh manages to shoot him in the leg. He throws his gun down, and limps over to the stranger, standing over him with Josh Ryan. It's unclear if he's alive or not, or if they're even trying to resuscitate him.

Taking advantage of this, we run alongside the building, the opposite way we were going, back past the entrance and then across a street. There's a log cabin that we run into, and it's a police station. We stand in line to report the crime and Josh gets a piece of paper to write down what happened. People around us start asking, so Josh tells them, and they all love the story. Then, we look outside and Josh Ryan and Jon Ruten are carrying the stranger towards the stairs up to the door. We panic, because we know they're coming here to kill us, so we run to the back of the building.

A woman tells us to jump onto this slide, and I'm reluctant, but she convices me. I jump on after her and we go around in a circle, and then suddenly we're going up hill, on this waterslide in a police department, and we're going back up to the beginning of the slide. She tells me that this symbolizes divorece. We go under the beginning, where a girl is waiting to slide down, and we're in this enlosed section. The woman disappears. I stop at this wall. There are bees everywhere. I stay low and the fly over me. I look up and there are for sections, long enough for me to lie down in, with wooden walls for me to jump over. I jump over the first one, and the bees that have stopped there fly over to the next stall. I'm freaking out, but I continue, until the fourth stall, which I can't bring myself to jump. I'm just sitting there, shaking, when a bee turns to me, and it's got a human head. It tells me that the bees were only made to go four stalls, and that I should just get over it and jump. So I do. I slide down for a while, and suddenly I'm sliding up again, only it's into this open air, roofed building, like the building at A.D. Penner Park, only it's slanted like a theater, and there are people everywhere, soaked head to toe and swollen from bee stings.

I walk up the middle aisle and go back into the police station, worried sick about Josh.

Ouzo

Ouzo.

A powerful Greek licorice flavoured spirit. Gives me crazy dreams.

A bunch of girls I know are over at my house. One of the girls took a shower and the water made her sweat and made her underwear stink. She wanted to borrow a pair of underwear. They found Kevin's boxers and they sniffed them and they were gross because they all had shit stains on them. One was particularily bad, it had a big shit stain on it shaped like the Batman symbol. I found a clean pair of my boxers and gave them to them.

I know. It doesn't make sense.

On the Train to Athens

We're on a train somewhere in Europe and we got split up, I don't know where my friends are, they could be anywhere. Random people I know are there. A girl from high school is there but she's taller and looks like a super model and I want to kiss her. She tells me I should join the Peace Corps and she kisses me first, giving me tongue. A train comes and I follow the other people on to it and hope I'll end up in the same place as my friends. I feel lost but I don't care.

At this point I wake up for a second and see my two friends sleeping on the train with me and I think, "Wow, that's weird." Then I fall back asleep.

And we're driving down Henderson Highway in Winnipeg and it's rainy and foggy. Kevin is driving and he switches lanes. There's a semi-truck stopped in this lane and he's driving way to fast. He's going to hit it. I yell and put my hands up.

I jolt awake with my arms in front of me, gasping for breath. The train car is hot and I'm sweating.
